Reading
TL;DR: Ignore the long intro as it’s an attempt of me trying to be deep. Though, Underneath it you can find a list that me and a couple of friends have put up on reading recommendations.
Reading has never been something I grew up with. However, the high school I attended had strongly pushed the habit of reading to their students. In high school, the english classes had more emphasis on deconstructing and reflecting on famous literatures.
I have never been an avid follower of novels, science-fiction nor any other literary works, but in spite of that, I found interest in analogical representation and interpretation of the aforementioned. This sparked the curiosity of exploring the world of philosophy.
Books are great in being the platform to explore different topics and increasing knowledge, but the same opinion can be expressed to movies, podcasts and other media platform. I guess the choice of platform can be determined by personal level of comfort and the focus should always be on the idea, purpose or message it delivers.
